What is Dupuytren's Contracture?

Thickening of tissue in the palm that can gradually pull one or more fingers into a bent position.

Symptoms

  • Pain or tenderness around the affected area
  • Reduced grip strength or stiffness
  • Symptoms that may worsen with repeated use

Treatment Options

Treatment depends on the severity of symptoms and may include splinting, hand therapy, injections or surgical review.
